The Problem
A data engineering platform needed a reliable and governed way to build, version, validate, and promote Python and Spark libraries across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments while maintaining traceability between source commits, builds, and released artifacts.
The Solution
We designed a reusable Azure DevOps CI/CD architecture for Microsoft Fabric workloads. The platform standardizes wheel packaging, deterministic versioning, commit traceability, artifact promotion, and environment-specific deployment while ensuring that TEST and PROD consume the same validated build artifact. Centralized pipeline templates and governed release rules keep the delivery process consistent across repositories.
